Six minutes of unmistakable Bicep. A single recorded in the Field Day London headliners’ new studio and conceived during their immense live tour across the globe that has come as a welcomed breath of creativity and energy in these uncertain times.
The pioneering duo’s first new music since their 2018 Rain EP see’s synth lines ebbing and flowing across broken percussion and delicate vocals, a track very much influenced by the Belfast boy’s experimental approach to their live shows.
“It would’ve been unthinkable to foresee the circumstances this track would be released in when we were making it. Our frame of mind was so positive then, fresh off the back of our live tour, full of excitement for the next phase. ‘Atlas’ was our attempt at summing up some of the euphoric moments we experienced on that tour across those two years. It feels like those moments are very far away for all of us right now, but we hope this serves as some form of distraction amidst all this chaos.” – Matt & Andy (Bicep)
During these unprecedented times, we see new music and any creativity coming from artists as hugely important and will do all we can to share this with you.
Stay safe and look after yourselves and everyone around you.
