Peggy Gou

Peggy Gou, a South Korean-born DJ, producer, and songwriter based in Berlin, has quickly risen to become one of the most prominent figures in electronic music.

Though it seems like she burst onto the scene in 2016 when she dropped four 12" EPs of bright, slightly hazy house tracks, Gou had actually been producing and DJing for several years. She first learnt to beatmatch in Korea in 2009 and resumed the hobby a couple of years later while studying at the London College of Fashion.

Throughout the 2010s, Gou became internationally renowned for her energetic DJ sets, which dreamily flow through various styles of techno, house, and electro. Her own tracks, such as the acclaimed 2018 single “It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)” and 2021's “I Go,” are vibrant, joyous productions that echo vintage deep house and post-disco without sounding like throwbacks.

Gou made her mainstream breakthrough in 2023, when “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” a Euro-dance-influenced single, went viral, eventually topping club and pop charts around the world. Her highly anticipated debut album, I Hear You, dropped in the summer of 2024.

We’re so excited for Peggy Gou to headline Field Day 2025.
