In 2010, Midland debuted with "Your Words Matter," addressing human rights. By 2016, he won "Essential Mix of the Year," and his hit "Final Credits" was named Mixmag’s Song of the Year, landing on Rolling Stone’s Best Dance Tracks of All Time. His production journey has evolved from dance music to more experimental sounds, launching his own label, "Graded," and collaborating with artists like Peach and Otik. Midland's remixes for acts such as Disclosure and Dua Lipa further solidified his global presence.
As a DJ, Midland is celebrated for his versatility, blending British and European styles with an innate understanding of the crowd. His mixes, including “Essential Mix of the Year” and “Fabriclive 94,” have earned widespread acclaim. In 2024, he released his debut album, “Fragments of Us,” which was hailed as one of the year's best. Midland’s continued evolution as an artist is a testament to his authentic, unforced ascent in the music scene.
