Everything you need to know

Is Field Day 2021 still going ahead?

Yes, the festival is still scheduled to go ahead on the new date of Sunday 29th August, at Victoria Park. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Will I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend the festival?

No, you don’t have to be vaccinated to gain entry but if you haven’t been vaccinated you will need to present proof of a negative lateral flow test, which you can easily access free of charge from your local pharmacy or have one sent directly to your home using this link.

Additionally you can provide proof of a negative PCR test which can also be accessed free of charge via local test sites daily or also sent directly to your home.

Lastly, proof of natural immunity via presentation of a COVID Pass will also be accepted.

Please see HERE for further information.

What are the terms of entry?

In line with the advice and guidance from the UK and local government, all guests will be required to present your NHS COVID Pass on entry to Field Day in order to gain access to the event and to help us to reduce the risk of the transmission of COVID-19.

As outlined above the NHS COVID Pass is a certificate that demonstrates that you have at least one of the following:

  • You have received a negative lateral flow or PCR test result [within 48 hours of the event].
  • You have completed a full course (both jabs) of vaccination [at least 14 days ago]
  • You have proof of natural immunity by way of a positive PCR test [within 180 days prior the event].

You can create and present your NHS COVID Pass via the NHS App (including a downloadable pdf), on the NHS website or as a paper letter, which can be requested through the NHS website or by ringing 119.

For more details on the requirements and how to download the pass, head to the NHS website. NHS website

Field Day Afterparty:

The same terms of entry described above apply to the Field Day Afterparty at Oval Space, Hackney.

How can I get PCR test to gain the NHS COVID Pass?

You can order a free PCR test kit to be sent to your home or book an appointment at a walk-in or drive-through test site. Both can be done via https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

How can I get a lateral flow test to gain the NHS COVID Pass?

Free Lateral Flow test kits can be ordered online through the government website (https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests) or purchased from a local pharmacy.

Why are you implementing the NHS COVID Pass when it’s not been mandated by the government?

The Government has strongly encouraged all large venues to put this measure in place. We are taking all sensible precautions to help ensure the safety of our guests, staff and artists, and to mitigate the risks of COVID-19. By doing so, we want to help protect all our guests, and also do our part to enable live events to restart in a safe and secure way.

What if I haven’t yet been offered a vaccine?

We understand that not all our guests will have received a vaccination yet, but you can still attend as long as you’re able to provide proof of a negative lateral flow or PCR test (within 48 hours of entry) via the COVID Pass.

What if I am clinically exempt from the vaccine and testing?

Please contact our customer services team with details and they will issue you with an exemption letter to show to staff on arrival. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Vaccine Exemption Request”.

I am travelling from Europe, will you accept EU Digital COVID certification?

Yes, EU Digital COVID Certificates will be accepted.

Will I have to wear a face covering/practice social distancing during the event?
