Field Day is an outdoor music festival with a diverse line-up spanning all genres of music and all sizes of acts and has earned a reputation as being a music festival for music lovers and having an eye for programming every stage and every act not just the big names.
Now in its 12th year, the Field Day grew out of earlier event Return of the Rural first held in 2001. Inspired by the idea of bringing something of the countryside to the city, at the heart of this event was the idea of people coming together and enjoying music of all genres plus a smattering of craft, games and visuals all under one roof.
While the emphasis of Field Day has always been music first we also love food and are delighted to have Street Feast and the London Independent Brewers Market as a key part of our make up. And for a change from the music check out the Village Mentality Village Green which is like a traditional village fete but with its own Field Day twist.
Field Day is still run by the same team of individuals that have been involved since the beginning, we are moving from our home of 11 years in Victoria Park to the beautiful Brockwell park.
This year we have offered 500 free tickets to residents of streets surrounding the area of Brockwell Park, the full list of which can be accessed here.
The ballot deadline was Monday 2nd April and the winners were contacted on Friday 6th April.
