We are delighted to welcome back long-time friend of Field Day and one of the hardest working musicians around today, Dan Snaith aka Caribou to headline Field Day Saturday.
Under the guises of both Caribou and Daphni, this is Dan’s fourth time at Field Day, making him an out and out favourite of ours at Field Day HQ. Looking to continue what can only be described as a triumphant 2014, anyone who has seen Caribou live can attest to the fact that the live show is not one to be missed. Anybody who saw his recent sell out show at Koko witnessed something special, and the night sky of Victoria Park seems to be the most perfect setting to go one better and bring Field Day Saturday to a close with what we can only describe as one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend.
Caribou’s sixth album ‘Our Love’ has proven that their is seemingly no let up in his brilliantly creative output, with the album featuring highly in numerous end of year polls, including our own. Radio 1 also recognised his epic Essential Mix as the best of 2014 showing that there is seemingly no end to his talents as a musician, DJ, producer and performer.
We’ve been listening to the album pretty much on repeat and are honoured to have such a brilliant artist grace the stage to headline Field Day Saturday. We hope you are as excited about it as we are.Listen
